1. Service
FlatFinderDE provides tools for apartment searching (application generator and checklists). The service is the provision of software and technical infrastructure. No outcome (e.g. getting an apartment) is guaranteed.
FlatFinderDE is not affiliated with any real-estate portals and has no control over their content, availability, or response times.
2. Accounts, tokens & activation
There is no traditional user account. Paid features are unlocked via an activation code (pass token). You are responsible for storing the code securely and not sharing it improperly.
3. Payments & pass
The 30‑day pass is a one-time payment for time-limited access. There is no subscription and no auto-renew. Checkout is processed via Stripe.

4. Assessments / feedback
If you provide feedback or reviews, FlatFinderDE may use it to improve the product (without publishing personal data).
5. Abuse
Prohibited: technical attacks, bypassing limits, automated mass usage, abusive use of portals, or any use that harms others. In case of abuse, access (including pass-based access) may be limited or terminated.
6. Liability
FlatFinderDE is fully liable for intent and gross negligence and where required by law. Otherwise, liability is limited to typical, foreseeable damages to the extent permitted by law.
No liability for the content/availability of external portals or for missed opportunities (e.g. missed listings) due to delays or outages.
7. Right of withdrawal (digital content)
If you are an EU consumer purchasing digital content, you generally have a right of withdrawal. This right may be lost if performance starts immediately and you explicitly consent and acknowledge the loss of the withdrawal right.
Consent (example wording)
I expressly agree that performance begins before the end of the withdrawal period. I acknowledge that I thereby lose my right of withdrawal.
You must actively confirm this consent before checkout starts.
9. Refund policy (short)
Policy: No refunds after pass activation (digital service delivered). Exception: If a technical failure prevents usage and we cannot resolve it promptly, a goodwill refund may be issued.
